Roy
The new wave of modular seating—revamped from the 1970’s—often relies on fabrics with simple patterns, textures, and colors. Designed for comfort with a high loft, this matelassé fabric was designed specifically for use on modular furniture. Roy’s large scale zig-zag design has a thick padded look and feel of a cottony quilt, but without any padding or surface stitching. Well suited to the geometric and curvy forms seen in contemporary seating, the seven bold colorways are piece-dyed. Custom colors can be ordered for a low minimum of 180 linear yards.
